Canvas of Light was commisioned by Cannon Design for their new Michigan Avenue offices in Chicago. We were asked to create "an experience as an abstract art piece that is engaging, inspirational and innovative."

The 9.1 metre wide Light Installation is located in their main reception area also know as Bridge Gallery. By projecting onto glass the installation appears to float in space giving it a ethereal quality. The imagery which combines architecture, technology, people and nature was inspired by the city itself.

Five small video projectors mounted into the ceiling are used to create a single seemless ultra widescreen image that wraps around the corner. The installation was designed as a platform as well as an art-piece allowing the client the option of playing other specially formatted sequences as well.
